Goosepen Cottage Spacious Holiday Cottage - Western Lake District - sleeps 4

Welcome to Goosepen Cottage,  a beautiful and spacious barn conversion holiday cottage located in Santon Bridge, Wasdale, in the quiet Western Lake District.   Our spacious yet cosy cottage is situated on a former working farm, has stunning views up the Wasdale valley and is close to the lovely valley of Eskdale. Goosepen Cottage is a scenic 20 minute drive from the foot of Scafell Pike, so is perfectly located for those people wishing to climb England's highest peak.

The cottage sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms and has a full self catering kitchen, living/dining room with log burner, wifi,  bathroom and separate toilet.  The 'upside down' accommodation has the living area upstairs, to take full advantage of the fantastic scenery.  Two outdoor seating areas, one south facing and one west facing, make the most of the sun and provide alfresco dining with a view.  Pets welcome. 

The cottage is surrounded by fields, woods and impressive hills and mountains and yet is only 200m from a pub serving good beer and quality food.
